Fall Eye Tutorial: Smokey Grey & Purple - Pink Eye Tutorial

Tuesday, October 22, 2013
I have been LOVING this eye combo lately!! I have literally worn it 3 out of 7 days this last week!!! A fun way to switch it up is to put a little bit of MAC Shale over MAC Copperplate for a little sheen. SO PRETTY!!!

Holiday Glam Eye: Using Makeup Geek Products

Monday, October 7, 2013
Ever since I purchased the Makeup Geek Pigment in Utopia I have been OBSESSED! It is the most beautiful and unique pigment I have ever seen!!!

The Makeup Geek website describes it as: A mixture of deep brown and antique gold shimmer duochrome glitter.

Here is a great swatch from the Makeup Geek Website:

I love pairing it with the Makeup Geek Base in Rave which just makes this pigment that much more beautiful!!!

My inspiration for this look was from a picture I saw on instagram from pinupbeautyx93. She used Utopia and Rave and I instantly went out and purchased it to recreate the look. I know she used a bit more warmer orange and reddish browns which I love but I switched it up a bit with a more mustardy-camel yellow instead :)

beauty on a budget: fun and flirty

Sunday, August 19, 2012
Yay! Another back to school looking using some fun colors!!! I LOVE COLOR!!! Especially purple! I think that is one of my favorites shades to wear! I wanted to create a look that is a little bit more "bold" for back to school for those that love to be a bit more bold! It again is a super EASY and quick look but is really beautiful and will flatter ANY eye color!!!

I am again using the Wet N Wild Color Icon Palettes but this is the Petal Pusher Palette. I love this palette because it has some beautiful purple and pinky shades that are pigmented and very blendable. My best tip when using these shadows is to not blend too much otherwise you will blend them to nothing!!!

I hope you enjoy this tutorial!!!!

Simple Back To School Look on a Budget

Saturday, August 18, 2012

It is about that time again for back to school videos!!! Although it has been YEARS since I have actually been back to school I found this to be a great opportunity to think back to what I would have worn when I was in high school or college. Now don't think that you have to be going to school to wear this look! This is a great work look also just an everyday face!

All the products used were from the drugstore which is even better! Who doesn't love beauty on a budget!!!! I find that the Wet N Wild palettes are some of the best eye shadows that the drugstore offers! They are extremely inexpensive as well as HIGHLY pigmented!!! The Vanity Palette is one of my all time favorites from the Wet N Wild Line!!!

Also how can you forget about the amazing Maybeline 24 hour Color Tattoos!!! I have found Bad to the Bronze is one of my most used eye shadow bases!!!

Click below to watch how I created this easy back to school/ or work look!
